Organisations come to Humanize7 with very different challenges. Collaboration that is not working well. Changes that never quite get off the ground. Leadership that does not deliver what is expected. Or an organisation that is growing faster than its way of organising can keep up.

Often, a great deal has already been tried. The knowledge is there, people are committed and the intentions are good.

And yet they are not moving forward.

More room.More is possible.

What is actually happening here?

When something does not go as expected, we quickly look for an explanation. In the people, the leadership, the collaboration or the way the work is organised.

But does that really tell us what is happening?

What people do is not determined only by what they can or want. It also arises in the interaction with the environment in which they work.

If you only look at individual people or parts of the organisation, it is easy to miss what happens between them.

And that is precisely where new possibilities can become visible.

Looking differently creates room.

Humanize7 therefore starts by exploring what is really happening. With the work as the starting point and purpose as the direction.

What are people trying to achieve together? What does that require of them? And what helps or hinders them in making that happen?

By putting the work at the centre, we can see how people, collaboration and the way the work is organised influence one another. And where there are opportunities to do things differently.

Putting the work at the centre may well be the best way to put people at the centre.

When we see more clearly what helps or hinders people in their work, we also begin to see what could be different. We call the ability to act in ways the work requires agency.

Discovering what works together

Humanize7 does not start with a solution. We start by listening and exploring. What is really going on? Why do people, despite their good intentions, struggle to move forward?

By looking at the work together with the people involved, we gain a clearer understanding of the challenge. And new possibilities begin to emerge.

The next steps are not designed for the organisation, but with the people who know the work. Step by step, we discover what works and what is needed to move forward.

See. Create room.
Act & learn.

01 — See

First understand what is really happening. We explore purpose, the environment, the people and the interaction between them.

02 — Create room

What we see determines where we begin. We address what prevents people from doing what is needed.

03 — Act & learn

In day-to-day work, we try out what works, make visible what creates tension and learn from it.

Humanize7 looks at the whole, but intervenes selectively. What we do follows from what we see.

Don’t change.
Unlock.

We do not prescribe behaviour. We expand the room to act differently.

The people behind Humanize7.

Wilco

Wilco is curious about the patterns behind what happens. He explores what genuinely moves people: what they perceive, the meaning they give it and what happens between people. Not to prescribe behaviour, but to make visible what enables different action.

Gert-Jan

Gert-Jan wants a good insight to lead somewhere. He brings complex issues back to their essence, sharpens choices and looks for what is needed to create movement. With an eye for results and for the people who ultimately have to make them happen.

Ruud

Ruud often sees and senses what has not yet become visible or been put into words. He gets to the heart of what is happening beneath the surface and how the work is organised. Ruud creates space where thinking and feeling can meet, allowing what was hard to grasp to emerge. In doing so, he reveals the essence and creates a sense of direction - in collaboration, organisation, and the space for each person’s contribution.

What becomes possible when you look at things differently?

Sometimes moving forward does not start with a new solution, but with a better understanding of what is really happening.

Curious about what might become possible in your organisation when you look at things differently? Humanize7 would be glad to explore it with you.
